Dzin marks the hours and does not require an account. It has no ads, no third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics or AppsFlyer), and no access to contacts, location, microphone or the contents of your files.
Most settings stay only on the phone. The app’s external server (https://dzin.kovis.app) receives over HTTPS only the data listed in this policy: Dzin+ access checks, promo-code redemption, anonymous chime-delivery statistics (when enabled), short crash/ANR reports (when statistics are enabled), and a diagnostic report you send yourself.

The data controller is the app author (contact: kovisapp@gmail.com).
App server: https://dzin.kovis.app (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1). Traffic uses HTTPS only. Data is not sold or shared with ad networks or other third parties for their marketing; the operator has access to the database.
Conversations inside Telegram follow Telegram’s own policy; the operator sees only what you wrote to the app’s bot.
On first launch the app creates a stable install identifier. It usually looks like aid_<ANDROID_ID>, where ANDROID_ID is Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID on the device (not the Advertising ID / GAID and not a phone number). If ANDROID_ID is unavailable, a random uuid_<UUID> stored in app preferences is used instead.
Purpose: restore Dzin+ after reinstall or a new phone, bind a promo code to the device, attach a diagnostic report to a support case, and — only if you open the bot from the app — link the device to your Telegram account so a reply or access can be delivered.
When it is sent to the server:
• periodic or forced Dzin+ license check (action=license);
• gift or promo code redemption (action=redeem);
• diagnostics upload after you confirm (action=diag);
• the start=app_<identifier> parameter in the Telegram bot link when you yourself tap a button in the app that opens the bot or joins the community.
The install identifier is not used for advertising and is not passed to advertising SDKs. You can ask the server to forget it with /forgetme in the bot (see “Deleting your data”); a local copy on the phone may be recreated the next time the app runs.
The app may periodically ask the server whether Dzin+ is unlocked for this install identifier. If the server confirms access, the app clears the local feature lock. Already unlocked access on the device is not revoked when the server is unreachable.
When you enter a promo code, the code and install identifier are sent so the code can be marked used and access bound to the device.
When you open the app’s Telegram bot yourself with a device start parameter, your numeric Telegram user id may be linked to the install identifier — otherwise there is nowhere to deliver a gift, a support reply or access. Messages to the bot, ideas and votes are stored so the author can answer and take them into account.
Once a day the app may send counters: how many chimes played on time, how many were late, how many were lost, plus the phone vendor and model, Android version, app version, install channel (Google Play, RuStore, AppGallery, or other) and two flags — whether exact alarms are allowed and whether battery restrictions are lifted.
If the app crashed or stopped responding (ANR), the next launch may also send a short technical report: failure kind, exception class, a truncated stack trace and the same device details — without your typed text.
These uploads use a separate random statistics identifier (UUID) created by the app. It is not the installDeviceId and is not linked to Telegram; the server stores a hash of it.
Statistics may be on by default; you can turn them off at any time: Settings → “Anonymous statistics”. The “Learn more” link next to the switch opens this policy.
Sent only when you tap “Send diagnostics” and confirm. The report contains the phone model and firmware version, permission and power-saving state, your chime settings as numbers and flags (interval, active period, chosen sound), the app event log, and the install identifier — so support can match the report to your case.
The report never contains free-form phrases you typed, your list of installed apps, file contents, or data from other programs.
The report text is deleted after 60 days, the record of it after a year.
A voluntary donation (a card in dollars or euros) is processed by Tribute, inside Telegram or via a web link. It is not a Dzin+ purchase and unlocks nothing in the app.
Tribute sends the server a payment notice: amount and currency, schedule, your Telegram user id and username, whether you donated anonymously, the message and the email address if you provided them. They are kept so the author can thank you and keep accounts. The email stays in the database only. The author sees the message text.
/forgetme deletes these records together with the rest of your Telegram data.
Send the bot the /forgetme command — it asks for confirmation and then deletes your record, the device link, your messages, ideas, votes and the diagnostic reports you sent.
Dzin+ already unlocked on the device is not taken away: it stays in the app but stops restoring itself after a reinstall.
